Furnace/Boiler Maintenance Plan

What’s Covered:

  • Safety test for carbon monoxide (CO)
  • In-place cleaning of the motor and fan
  • Safety check heat exchanger for cracks or damage
  • Check blower operation
  • Check for hazardous debris in the chimney and flue
  • Check gas piping to furnace
  • Check operation of thermostat
  • Check gas pilot safety system and clean as required
  • Check safety controls
  • Inspect media air cleaner and report if necessary
  • Check wiring
  • Check condensate drain; pump and clean as required
  • Clean burners and set for proper combustion and ignition
  • Check condition, tension and alignment of fan belt and perform required adjustments
  • Clean air filters and re-install – One (1) 1” disposable filter included

Exclusions:

  • Natural draft boilers require a CO test which is discounted to $50 (reg. $75)
  • Ancillary equipment such as air conditioners, humidifiers and air cleaners
  • Parts not listed above are not covered by the plan

Note:

  • We reserve the right to a system inspection prior to any maintenance and protection plan agreements

  • All Comfort Care Maintenance Plans require prepayment.
  • Any work required outside of the ComfortCare Maintenance Plan will be brought to the attention of the customer
  • Locations outside of the GTA are subject to a service charge

Air Conditioning Maintenance Plan

What’s Covered:

  • Inspect refrigerant lines for signs of leakage
  • Check operation controls and thermostat
  • Monitor refrigerant pressure
  • Inspect and clean condenser coil as required
  • Check all wiring and connectors
  • Check condensate drain and clean as required
  • Check and clean standard air filters
  • Cleaning of coils
  • Check operating temperatures
  • Lubricate moving parts
  • Check blower operation
  • Inspect media air cleaner and report if necessary
  • Check system voltage and amp draw of the compressor
  • Check condition, tension and alignment of fan belt and perform required adjustments
  • Check condenser fan operation and lubricate as required
  • Check operation and condition of the compressor contactor
  • Clean air filters and re-install – One (1) 1” disposable filter included

Exclusions:

  • Ancillary equipment such as furnaces, humidifiers and air cleaners
  • As a result of a refrigerant leak due to a pressure deficiency in the cooling line circuit, a leak test must be performed as defined by CFC regulations. This test is not covered by any plan
  • Cost of refrigerant recovery, vacuuming and refill
  • Parts not listed above are not covered by the plan
